Ball Media - Terms and Conditions:

Turn Time:
Turn Times are based on our standard turn time of 10-12 business days from final graphic approval.
PLEASE ADVISE IF YOU REQUIRE A SPECIFIC TURN TIME IN ADVANCE OF YOUR ORDER.
Please speak with your Sales Representative to confirm turn time for your order.
Standard Prepress setup/flight check time and output of proofs of received files is 1-3 business days.
Your turn time commences with approval of proofs, not receipt of files.
Day O, all customer assets received by 1 PM i.e. Film,, CD-R, printed material etc., and deposit / credit approval
Day 1 begins at 9:00 AM the next business day (turnaround time is in business days and does not include weekends/holidays/shipping)
Please Note: Late approvals or revisions and unforeseen issues that may arise with the order might delay your order further.
Ball Media Corp. will strive to meet required delivery dates such as may have been quoted.

Pricing:

Ball Media will match or beat any written, competitive quotes.
All prices are in funds as indicated on quotation.
Pricing does not include applicable freight or taxes (Taxes Canada only) unless otherwise noted
Prices are based on receiving art files to Ball Media's specifications. Files received not meeting Ball Media's specifications may incur additional charges.
Please Note: any orders which require shipping to more than 1 Address will be subject to an additional handling fee of $20.00 per shipment.

Payment Policy:

PLEASE NOTE: Payment Terms -- ALL NEW ORDERS FOR FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS and orders without credit approval requires 90% deposit. 10% Balance is payable prior to order being entered any additional charges incurred will be payable on completion of order and prior to shipping.
Credit Terms and Accounts for future orders must be applied and approved by Ball Media in advance. Applicationsfor Creditand Terms is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of Ball Media.
We accept Certified Checks, Money Orders, Visa and Master Card with customer's written authorization.Debit is accepted on premises as well as exact cash.

Regarding Credit Card Payments: Personal Credit Cards are subject to a 1.5 % surcharge. Corporate Cards are subject to a 2% surcharge.
ANY Accounts not paid as per agreed terms will be subject to 2% per month /26.8%per annum on overdue accounts.

PLEASE NOTE: All overage / underage will be charted accordingly. Freight is additional
Short run digital books -- Please allow for +/- 5% overage/underage per order
Large run offset printed book / Media / Print - Please allow for +/- 10% overage/underage per order

Packaging / Shipping:
Please note that all shipments are package in Single Wall Cartons unless specified otherwise. Double Wall Cartons are available but subject to additional cost.Please ensure that all materials shipped to Ball Media Corporation contain a packing slip listing the contents and quantity.For customer supplied printed material such as tray cards and booklets, please ensure All overages of customer supplied printed material will be returned to the customer with their order or stored in our inventory for future production.Master stampers will be retained for one year, free of charge. Contact Ball Media Corp. if longer retention is required. Please note: any orders requiring shipping to more than 1 addresses will be subject to an additional handling fee of $20.00 per shipment

Graphics:
GRAPHIC FILES are to be supplied as per Ball Media Book Specifications and General Specifications Guide.
Note: Anything not meeting Ball Media's specifications may delay your order and possibly incur additional charges. Please refer to our specification guide to avoid any additional billing.Customer supplied booklet, inserts and films must meet Ball Media's standard specifications. Please contact your sales representative for specifications.

Files supplied incorrectly will be subject to a $40.00 file resubmission fee.Revisions cost if applicable to be quoted separately.
Graphic Consultations exceeding 10 minutes will be billed at $25/half hour with minimum ½ hr fee.

PLEASE NOTE:
For optimal output, books should run as black text on a white page. There are certain limitations associated
with heavy black coverage on certain digital presses. When heavy black coverage is used (ie white text printed on a
black page) a higher than normal rate of voiding can occur; this would include the appearance of white marks,
banding, etc. In order to eliminate this problem, your order can be moved to a different press. Please consult your
salesperson to discuss expectations and cost associated with different output methods.

Limitation of Liability:
Ball Media disclaims any and all implied warranties including all warranties of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose. Ball Media shall not be liable under any circumstances for any incidental or consequential loss or damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, and the customer expressly waives any and all claims for any such loss or damages. Ball Media is not liable for freight charges in the event of delayed completion dates. Under no circumstances shall Ball Media's liability exceed, nor shall customer's available remedies extend beyond, return of the full fees or charges paid for any services provided by Ball Media. Ball Media warranties the original product to acceptable industry standards.

Ball Media Corporation does not accept responsibility for corruption of artwork files transferred electronically to our graphics department. Due to the nature of the Internet and the volatility of electronic transfer as well as cdr and dvdr media for master files, it is highly recommended that a hard copy of all artwork , data, information and music files ( i.e CDR, DVDR,USB ) is sent to Ball Media as a primary source for files intended for graphics and prepress. PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE BACKUP FILES, BALL MEDIA disclaims any liability for masters, media or artwork lost or corrupted. It is common practice to retain a master backup.
